CONTROLLER: The tiny micro-controller for the boa is just above the pocket.

Feel down the boa from the outside and find a small lump with two small buttons, one over the other.

Be gentle with the buttons as they don’t require a hard press.

CARE: The strip inside is very durable and waterproof, so as long as you don’t abuse it you should be fine.

The most common issue with them is not understanding how to maintain it or treat them.

Once you understand the two basic rules this boa should be bright for years to come!

NEVER let your boa look like this! This causes the strip inside to be folded and twisted in many directions. If weight were to be added to this the strip could break. Prolonged use like this will cause the strip to short out.

INSTEAD

Roll your Boa up like this free of twists. Doing this keeps the strip inside free of stress and if something happens to fall or land on it the chances of damage are less.

TIPS: Most people want to just throw it on the floor or in a corner when you’re done using it, but that’s how it will break, so don’t do that. Hang your boa or roll it up and avoid putting weight on top of it.

Having it draped over your neck it’s never going to have issues even if there are few twists in it, but when those twists are folded and pressure added your chances of damage go way up.
